One of a series of modern arcane/casino games based on classic titles that I worked on, designed to be played on the casino floor in Las Vegas. Next Gaming wanted to give an old game a fresh modern look, and we decided on a flat/graphic aesthetic, while still drawing some inspiration from retro color palettes.

As Art Director on the project it was my responsibility to help develop the overall look and feel of the game, starting with the early stages of moodboarding and style research, and then the later stages of directing the game’s art and animation, including over 60 pieces of unique background art and the creation of the UI and 2D marketing materials.
